The guest list

The guest list is the arrival screen: a strip with all your tables at the top and the reservations for that day below it. Where the viewer shows where everyone sits, the guest list is the list on which you tick off who is in. You open it from the sidebar under Tables > Guest list. The menu item carries a counter: the number of guests still expected today.

The table strip

At the top every table of the floorplan appears as a block, with its capacity. A free table is marked Free. Click a table to narrow the list below to that one table; click All to see everything again. All zones filters by zone.

The list

Per reservation you see the time, the guest, the party size, the table, the status and the actions. Open booking jumps to the full reservation.

Filtering by status

Click Filter and tick the booking statuses you want to see. Leave everything unticked and you see all statuses. Your choice is remembered, so next time the guest list opens the way you left it. When it says Filtered you are looking at a selection — useful to know when you cannot find someone.

Creating a reservation from a table

1. Click the table and choose New reservation for this table.
2. Pick the Product, the Date and the Time — Now takes the current moment straight away.
3. Fill in the Party size and the Guest name.
4. Check the Table and click Create reservation.

If you see No products are linked to this floorplan, an administrator first has to link an object to the floorplan. No free tables match this party size means there is no room for this party size at that moment.

Which floor plan opens?

The guest list opens with the floor plan set as the default in Floorplan settings. If that was left empty, the first active floor plan is used.

Rights

You need the menu_guestlist right. Without it you do not see the menu item and cannot open the page directly either.
