A table combination is a fixed arrangement: these tables may be pushed together into one place for a larger party. You manage them in the editor with Manage combinations.

This is deliberately an explicit list. The automatic table assignment uses only the combinations you define here — tables that are in no combination are never merged automatically. So if you regularly get parties larger than your biggest table, you have to create the combinations; otherwise such a reservation stays without a table.

Pushing two tables together Separate T3 max. 4 people T4 max. 4 people Each table bookable on its own As a combination T3 T4 8 people · setup 10 min While the combination is occupied, T3 and T4 are not available separately. And: only combinations you define yourself are used.

Creating a combination

  1. Open the editor and click Manage combinations.
  2. Click New combination.
  3. Give it a Name, for example T3+T4 joined.
  4. Under Member tables, select at least two tables: hold Cmd or Ctrl while clicking.
  5. Fill in the Capacity: the number of people that fit at the joined tables. Required and greater than zero. It is not automatically the sum of the individual capacities — two tables for four often seat eight when joined, sometimes six.
  6. Fill in the Setup (min): the time you need to put the tables together.
  7. Click Save.

How a combination behaves

As soon as a combination is in use, its individual tables are blocked out: the same table cannot be occupied separately and as part of a combination at the same time. A combination inherits the tags of all its member tables together.
