- Floor plan
The Floorplans screen (Configuration > Modules > Floorplans) lists all your floorplans, showing a preview, the location, the dimensions, the number of tables and whether the plan is active. From here you open the editor or the live viewer, and here you record which objects land on which plan.
The fields of a floorplan
- Name — required; this name appears in the sidebar and in the viewer.
- Location — required; the object the floorplan belongs to.
- Width and Height — the canvas resolution in pixels, at least 100 × 100. When you upload a background the pixel size follows that image automatically; adjusting it by hand is only needed for floorplans without a background.
- Real width and Real length — optional, the actual room size in metres. They are shown next to the pixel size so the scale is clear.
- Active — an inactive floorplan still exists but is marked inactive in the viewer.
Background image
Click Change background image to upload a floor drawing: PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF or SVG, within the maximum file size shown. The image sits behind the tables in both the editor and the viewer. An uploaded image only becomes final when you click Save; until then it is marked Not saved yet.
Linked objects
Under Linked objects you determine which objects' reservations land on this floorplan. Without a link nothing happens: no booking gets a table at all.
- Save the floorplan first — linking is only possible afterwards.
- Pick an object from the list and click Link.
- Optionally fill in required tags. Only tables carrying all of those tags are then eligible for that object's bookings. That is how you steer, say, a wheelchair product towards the accessible tables.
Unlink removes an object again.
Notes
Through Edit notes you add a Markdown text to the floorplan — service instructions or layout reminders. The notes belong to the plan, not to a booking.
What else you can do
- Open editor — place and adjust tables.
- Open live viewer — use the plan during service.
- Export and Import floorplan — carry a plan over to another environment.
- Guest preferences — the button at the top right takes you to the screen where you group zones into guest-facing choices.
Deleting
Deleting a floorplan also removes all tables, table combinations and reservation links of that plan. i-Reserve asks for confirmation first.
Rights
This screen requires the menu_confmod_floorplan right.
