Creating a floorplan with the wizard
- Waar vind ik dit
- Configuratie - Modules - Plattegronden
- Benodigde module
- Floor plan
The New floor plan wizard builds a working floorplan in two steps: it draws the floor, arranges the requested number of tables in a tidy grid and takes you straight into the editor. So you never have to start from an empty canvas.
Step by step
- Go to Configuration > Modules > Floorplans and click New floorplan.
- Step 1 — name and dimensions. Give the floor plan a name (for example Ground floor) and fill in the Length and Width of the floor in metres. Both are required.
- Click Next.
- Step 2 — number of tables per size. Enter how many tables you have per party size. The wizard uses fixed sizes: 2 people (round, 0.7 m), 3 people (0.9 × 0.9 m), 4 people (1.0 × 1.0 m), 6 people (1.6 × 0.9 m), 8 people (2.2 × 0.9 m) and 10 people or more (2.8 × 1.1 m).
- Click Create floor plan.
i-Reserve creates the floorplan, places the tables row by row with half a metre of wall margin and sixty centimetres of aisle between them, and then opens the editor.
What you still do yourself
The wizard gives you a starting point, not a finished result. In the editor you drag the tables to their real positions, adjust names and capacities, and create zones and table combinations. Afterwards, link your objects in the floorplan form — without that, no reservation ever lands on the plan.
Rights
You need the menu_confmod_floorplan right. If the floor plan module is not active, the wizard says so and creates nothing.
